Sunset Kiss

I recall this day so fondly on a beach at Phillip Island. It was a summer holiday, and the sun was about to set. Attempting to create a silhouette shot, I found a sand dune where I told my wife and son to kiss.

Amazingly, all things came together, the lighting, the pose and the wonderful moment of it all. I entered the photo in a Whittlesea Leader “Summer Photo” competition. The photo won the competition and it was printed for the next edition of the paper. My son is not so young anymore, but I will always remember that day with fondness, as it was an intimate family moment, that will always remind me one of my favorite holidays.
